On October 27, 2021, Liu Liwu, Vice Mayor of Haikou City, met with a delegation of San Francisco enterprises and conducted pragmatic exchanges on the introduction of advantageous industrial projects in the Gege area to Haikou and in-depth participation in the construction of the free trade port. Relevant persons in charge of the Provincial Department of Industry and Information Technology, the Provincial Department of Tourism and Culture, and the Provincial Department of Education, Peng Hao, Deputy Secretary-General of the Municipal Government, the main leaders of the Haikou Investment Promotion Bureau, and the relevant persons in charge of the Haikou National High-tech Zone, Haikou Jiangdong New Area, the Municipal Bureau of Tourism, Culture and Sports, the Municipal Agriculture and Rural Bureau, the Municipal Bureau of Science, Industry and Information Technology, and the Municipal Bureau of Commerce attended the symposium.

Liu Liwu welcomed the delegation, introduced in detail the development opportunities faced by Haikou in the context of the construction of the free trade port, as well as the development achievements of Haikou in economic development, urban facilities, business environment and other aspects in recent years, and responded to the intentions and demands put forward by the enterprises one by one, hoping that the two sides would take this inspection and exchange as an opportunity to deepen understanding and in-depth exchanges, and jointly promote the landing of feasible projects in Haikou. The relevant persons in charge of the Provincial Department of Industry and Information Technology, the Provincial Department of Tourism and Culture, and the Provincial Department of Education welcomed and supported the delegation to Hainan and Haikou to invest in industrial projects.
At the meeting, representatives of more than 10 well-known enterprises such as Riteng Group, Pony Testing Group, and Pico Group, which participated in the inspection, introduced the development of their respective enterprises in the fields of intelligent manufacturing, inspection and testing, smart city, smart agriculture, exhibition, culture and sports, and put forward specific demands for landing in Haikou.
Subsequently, accompanied by personnel from Haikou Investment Promotion Bureau and other relevant units, the delegation went to Haikou Jiangdong New Area, Haikou National High-tech Zone Mei’an Science and Technology New Town, Mission Hills Park and other places to inspect and understand the industrial carrying conditions of Haikou City.
Next, Haikou Investment Promotion Bureau will also link up with various parks and relevant functional departments to closely contact enterprises and actively promote the implementation of the project.

2021年10月27日，海口市副市长刘立武会见粤港澳企业考察团一行，就引进粤港澳地区优势产业项目落地海口，深度参与自贸港建设进行务实交流。省工信厅、省旅文厅、省教育厅相关负责人，市政府副秘书长彭浩、海口投促局主要领导及海口国家高新区、海口江东新区、市旅游文体局、市农业农村局、市科工信局、市商务局相关负责人出席座谈会。

刘立武对考察团一行表示欢迎，详细介绍了在自贸港建设背景下，海口面临的发展机遇，以及近年来海口在经济发展、城市配套、营商环境等方面的发展成果，并就企业提出的意向诉求逐一进行回应，希望双方以此次考察交流为契机，加深了解和深入交流，共同推动可行项目落地海口。省工信厅、省旅文厅、省教育厅相关负责人对考察团一行来海南、海口投资落地产业项目表示欢迎和支持。
会上，参与考察的发起企业日腾集团、谱尼测试集团、笔克集团等十余家粤港澳知名企业代表介绍了各自企业在智能制造、检验检测、智慧城市、智慧农业、会展、文化体育等产业领域上的发展情况，并提出了落地海口的具体诉求。
随后，考察团一行在海口投促局等相关单位人员的陪同下，前往海口江东新区、海口国家高新区美安科技新城、观澜湖园区等地进行考察，实地了解海口市产业承载条件。
接下来，海口投促局还将联动各园区及相关职能部门，与企业密切联系，积极推进项目落地。
